We are starting the 2020-2021 learning and teaching remotely, and we are making the most of it. Our top priority is ensuring that our students can reach their full academic potential. At the same time, we also recognize the additional responsibility remote learning places on our families. With that in mind, we are taking our use of technology to the next level while making every effort to provide the academic, social and emotional support our families need. As always, we are approaching this new challenge with curiosity and optimism. We are ALL learning new things together! We also want to be sure that ALL of our families are able to access the basic necessities to thrive. Our plan addresses all of these areas. We urge our families to familiarize themselves with these plans,
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
We understand our families have many questions about how RemoteLearning+ will work. Questions such as "what will my child's schedule look like" and "what kind of technology will be used?" and "how will we be able to access resources while school is remote?"
We created the attached presentation to provide answers to these questions and more. We also invite you to watch the video
of GLCPS Principal Lena Pires discussing the Remote Learning Plan.

Health and Wellness Team Office Hours
GLCPS nurses and counselors are keeping office hours at the school during this Remote Learning period. They are available to families. We ask that families call the school to schedule appointments. All visitors must wear masks and maintain 6 feet of separation between themselves, staff members and others who may be in the building.
