How many of us can say we've attended a G20 Summit? Well, four GLCPS high school students can say that they have; or rather, they attended a mock G20 Summit at Harvard University.
Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB), through its Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation (BCSCF), presented a grant to the Global Learning Charter Public School for $5,000. GLCPS' High School Band will use the grant to help fund their participation in the Washington D.C. Heritage Music Festival during April Vacation.

GLCPS was recently awarded a SerHacer grant by the Massachusetts Cultural Council to establish a regional jazz music program. SerHacer is a new initiative focused on supporting the growing number of intensive, ensemble-based music programs that use music as a vehicle for social change.
GLCPS is pleased to be invited to participate in the United Way's Hunger Heroes Project - Families Helping Families, Saturday, November 21st at the Dennison Memorial Center. Read further for more information on how your family can be part of this wonderful event!
We are thrilled to announce that Principal Lena Pires has been named one of the top ten administrators in the country in the 2015 Best In Education Awards. Ms. Pires is now eligible to bring home the grand prize of $20,000 for GLCPS. All of the finalists are either primary or secondary school administrators who demonstrate leadership and a variety of achievements in their role as school leaders.
10/15/15 is School Savings Day at Southern Mass Credit Union, a GLCPS partner. Head over after school for Child Safety Kits, face painting, and information on how your child can open a savings account. Tomorrow until 7:00 PM, 123 Alden Rd, Fairhaven.
