Kristina Wade is the Director of Special Education. She joined the GLCPS Team in 2017 as the Special Education Reading Support Specialist, and Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. She had previously taught in South Carolina before returning to the area. She is a Special Education Reading Support Specialist, and Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. Ms Wade is a trained instructor in the Orton Gillingham instructional program for struggling readers. She also worked in the Wareham school district. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education with a concentration in communication disorders from Bridgewater State University, and a Master''s degree in Special Education from the College of Charleston. Ms. Wade is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children.
