Matthew St. Jean joined GLCPS in 2013 as the physical education teacher for GLCPS. A New Bedford native, Matthew was a member of the varsity baseball, football and track teams at New Bedford High School. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2012 where he was a member of the football team. Matthew coaches our the GLCPS Royals basketball team which competes against local high schools and other charter schools in the Southcoast. He also facilitates our flag football and volleyball programs. He is committed to building our athletic program and encourages students to join these after school programs.
