Heather Chew; First Vice Chair

Heather Chew is the parent of a current GLCPS student; a high schooler; an alumna who is currently in college; and a GLCPS middle school teacher! Through the years, she has remained very active in the school community, volunteering in many capacities and offering her perspective on a variety of school-related topics. She is a staunch advocate of charter schools, participating in Charter School Advocacy Day at the Massachusetts State House. 

Professionally, Mrs. Chew is the director of network operations for the Alma del Mar Charter School. Mrs. Chew is an active member of the community and volunteers for the Acushnet Emergency Management Department and PACE, Inc Food Bank. She is a recipeint of the Commonwealth Heroine award.
