Kevin T. Pelland; Second Vice Chair

As a professional in the banking industry, Kevin is a strong community advocate as is evident by his involvement in numerous community organizations. Kevin recently retired as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for BayCoast Bank where he had been employed since June 2005. Prior to joining BayCoast Bank, Kevin served in the commercial lending departments at two local institutions: Rockland Trust Company and BayBank. As Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer, he is responsible for developing and maintaining commercial business relationships with a primary focus on expanding the Bank’s market share in the Greater New Bedford region. Kevin is involved with several organizations including: New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, American Red Cross, New Bedford Economic Development Council, SMILES, Junior Achievement, and SEED Corporation. He also served as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Downtown New Bedford, Inc. since 2002. Kevin is founder and committee member for the Annual Seaport of New Bedford Chowder Festival as well as the Annual Taste Our SouthCoast Festival.
