Maytee Muniz teaches Spanish and World Culture. She works with both our high school and middle school students. Prior to joining the GLCPS staff in 2023, Ms. Muniz worked for the Fall River School Department as a substitute teacher, teacher’s aide in an ABA setting and prep teacher in Fall River and Rhode Island schools. Ms Muniz completed her Bachelor’s degree from UMass Dartmouth and her Associate’s degree in Human Services from Bristol Community College. Ms. Muniz is proud of her heritage as Tainos, an indigenous people from Puerto Rico. She loves family dinner parties and celebrations, cooking, reading, traveling and the beach. Raising an autistic son has taught her the importance of compassion and understanding for people of all backgrounds and abilities.
