Nasha Encarnacao is a guidance counselor in the GLCPS College and Career Center. She joined the GLCPS staff in 2023. Ms. Encarnacao earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Wheelock College (now Boston University). She previously worked as a Wraparound Coordinator for New Bedford Public Schools at Normandin Middle School for three years where she supported families and advocated for students who describe her as outgoing and easy to talk to. Ms. Encarnacao is fluent in English and Portuguese. She was born and raised in New Bedford and is a proud graduate of New Bedford Public Schools. A mother, sister, aunt and wife, she believes in the power of family connections and relationships. She also enjoys dancing and singing.
