Laura Dos Santos is the Reading Specialist for GLCPS students. She received certificationa as a Reading Specialist in 2023 and is also a certified Orton-Gillingham educator. Ms. Dos Santos first joined the GLCPS grade 5 team as a teacher of Social Studies in 2018. Ms. Dos Santos enjoyed her teaching experiences as a Grade 6 Social studies teacher in Taunton, a Grade 5 teacher in Fall River, and as a Grade 5 teacher at Islamic Academy of New England in Sharon. She earned her bachelor's degree in elementary ed from Bay Path College and her master's degree in reading and language from UMass Lowell. She has her elementary 1-6 MA certification. Ms. Marini, in her spare time, teaches Zumba Kids at the YMCA in Taunton, and is Sunday School Director at Old South Union Church in Weymouth.
