The Global Learning Charter Public School is a Commonwealth Charter School that serves 500 New Bedford students in grades 5-12, and their families. Parents play an active role in the life of the school. GLCPS has enjoyed great success in its mission to challenge and support all students in an inclusive and diverse environment, to achieve academic excellence and prepare for the rigors of post-seconday success in a global community. The school curriculum includes core college preparatory academic disciplines, with a strong focus on science and technology literacy. Students have access to rich learning opportunities in the community and beyond, and have successfully demonstrated proficiency in state and district academic standards.
