This year's Global Gala is being held at the Allendale Country Club in Dartmouth on Friday, May 9th.
The festivities get underway at 6:00 PM and includes music, passed hors d'oeuvres and exciting auction items.
Each year, the Global Gala raises money for the Global Scholarship Fund which provides college scholarships for graduating seniors and for eligible students to attend summer academic travel programs. The Global Scholarship Fund provides equitable access to these programs while alleviating the financial burden for students and their families. All funds raised go directly back to the students in an effort to positively impact the future of the SouthCoast economic development and strengthen the workforce in the region.
The Global Gala is one of the ways the school celebrates partnerships with both local and international institutions.
Each year, GLCPS honors a community partner as a way to celebrate the organization's contributions to the community. This year's Community Partner Award is being presented to the YWCA of Southeastern Masachusetts.
Guests will enjoy a variety of hors d'oeuvres and desserts and will be able to purchase beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
