Mark Regan

Mark Regan joined the GLCPS team as a high school special education teacher in 2025.  This is his first year teaching at GLCPS, but he brings with him many years of experience supporting students in and out of the classroom.

Mr. Regan earned his Master’s degree in Moderate Disabilities from American International College and his Bachelor of Arts in History from Bridgewater State College. Before becoming a teacher, he worked for 11 years at Arlington High School as a behavioral support person in a special education program for students with autism. He then transitioned into the role of inclusion special education teacher, teaching a variety of small group and co-taught history classes. Over the years, he has also worked in summer schools, camps, and extended school year programs.

In addition to his work in the classroom, Mr. Regan has enjoyed coaching football, basketball, and softball. Outside of school, he’s a big fan of all Boston sports teams and loves cheering them on. He also enjoys relaxing at the beach and spending time with his wife, daughter, and extended family and friends.
