Once the Board launches the strategic plan process with direction from Executive Director Steve Furtado and Director of Development Amey Bissonnette, it will shift to a community led effort. The Board will turn over this task to a committee comprised of various stakeholders with a vested interest in GLCPS, including board members, families, staff, community partners and students.
During this months-long process of finalizing the strategic plan, the committee will take into account the much-anticipated opening of the school’s state-of-the-art STEAM Education Center, the impact of its College and Career Center on student future success, and the area’s growth industries. These items and more will help the committee in developing a plan that fulfills the school’s mission.
Developing a strategic plan is important work that will guide our actions as we continue to build a community of lifelong learners.
