Kristina Wade is the Director of Student Services. She joined the GLCPS Team in 2017 as the Special Education Reading Teacher and Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). She had previously taught Special Education in South Carolina before returning to the area.  Ms Wade is a trained instructor in the Orton Gillingham instructional program for reading.  She earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Communication Disorders from Bridgewater State University, and a Master's degree in Special Education (Learning Disabilities) from the College of Charleston. Ms. Wade is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children and National Association of Special Education Teachers. In her free time, Ms. Wade loves spending time with her husband and young daughters, as well as reading, traveling and going to the beach.
