Karen LeBlanc, MSW, LICSW; is a school social worker/adjustment counselor and a member of the GLCPS Student and Family Life Team. She began working at GLCPS in 2004. Karen received her BA in Sociology from UMass Dartmouth and her MSW from Boston University. She is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. Karen co-founded a mentoring group for at risk girls at Normandin Middle School and worked at a crisis center for seven years. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Karen has a private practice in Dartmouth and provides therapy two evenings a week. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and is an avid reader.
