Abrah Zion

Abrah Zion joined the GLCPS team as a Building Substitute Teacher in 2026. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Brandeis University.

Ms. Zion has been a Hebrew school teacher since 2022 and teaches photography to students of all ages and abilities. She is the owner and founder of Miss Z Photography Studio in New Bedford, where she specializes in photographing children, teens, and neurodivergent individuals. She is also passionate about giving back to her community and volunteers her time and photography skills to support children in foster care.

Ms. Zion is an active member of the Rotary Club and has served as Vice President of the local chapter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughters and her beloved pets. She is an avid reader, enjoys participating in 5K races, and has a particular enthusiasm for all things 1980s.
