Michael Whitley first joined the GLCPS Team during the 2023-2024 school year as a part-time custodian in a temporary position. He also agreed to facilitate one of the summer enrichment programs in which he shared his passion for cooking and taught students how to prepare delicious, healthy food. Mr. Whitley accepted a permanent position as building support staff and most recently was named as the GLCPS Operations Coordinator. In this role, he coordinates custodial, maintenance and food service for the school. Mr. Whitley earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Culinary Institute of America. He is passionate about food!
