Michael Whitley first joined the GLCPS Team during the 2023-2024 school year as a part-time custodian in a temporary position. He also agreed to facilitate one of the summer enrichment programs in which he shared his passion for food and taught students how to prepare delicious, healthy food. Mr. Whitley discovered that he enjoyed interacting with the students and staff. As a result, he is now the school’s Building Support Staff. Mr. Whitley earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Culinary Institute of America. He is passionate about food!
