Duncan Merrey joined the GLCPS team as a full-time teacher in the fall of 2024 but has had strong ties to GLCPS for many years. He has been a substitute teacher since 2021 after he graduated from the school. He is now the 6th grade ELA teacher. Mr. Merrey earned his Bachelor’s degree in education from Bridgewater State College and an Associate’s degree in education from Bristol Community College. Besides working at GLCPS, Mr, Merrey volunteers with the Acushnet Emergency Management Agency (EMA).
