Aimee Correia

Aimee Correia is excited to rejoin the GLCPS community for the 2025–2026 school year as an 8th grade special education teacher. She first taught at GLCPS during the 2020–2021 school year and returns to the GLCPS community after several years of teaching high school students in Dartmouth and at Apponequet. 

Ms. Correia earned her Master of Science in Education from Simmons University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simmons College. She loves working with students helping them grow and thrive both in and out of the classroom.

When she’s not teaching, Ms. Correia enjoys spending time outdoors biking, hiking, and camping. She also loves to travel and has explored incredible places like Alaska, the islands and mainland of Portugal, and even the Amazon rainforest. One of her favorite adventures was biking 480 miles in a single summer with her dad.
