Global Charter Jazz Initiative Resumes FREE Workshops February 3rd
The program dates are February 3rd, 10th and 17th, and March 3rd, 17th and 24th . The workshops will culminate with a public performance by participating students on March 24th.
Launched three years ago, the Saturday workshops are being led by GLCPS Music Director Don Richard. The program, which also offers a summer music camp and other special programs throughout the year, is made possible through a Ser Hacer grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and a generous grant from the Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation. The purpose of the initiative is to give young people the opportunity to learn and play music with their peers in a safe, fun environment.
