There will be a traditional barbecue prepared by Sodexo, our food service provider, for all families.

All families are encouraged to attend this event which includes a traditional BBQ. Important information will be provided regarding homeroom assignments, schedules, transportation and uniforms. Vital school forms will also be available. The evening is also an opportunity for you to meet and ask questions of staff and representatives of the Board of Trustees. In addition, you have the opportunity to learn more about the exciting educational programs available for your child this year at GLCPS.

Two of our community partners will also be at Back-to-School Night to share how they are connecting with us:

Southern Mass Credit Union (SMCU) offers students the opportunity to open a savings account to help them learn about saving their money. SMCU donates the $5.00 needed to open an account. For more information about their School Savings program, you can visit their table during the Back-to-School BBQ.

BayCoast Bank will be bringing their Big Blue Bus looking for volunteers to tell their story about why education is important to them. BayCoast Bank will be videotaping these stories for their project to highlight education as a path to success. Anyone is welcome to tell their story.
