Dorinda Maher

Dorinda Maher joined the GLCPS team in 2023. She is a special education paraprofessional for Grade 8. Ms. Maher holds a Master's in Education degree from Bridgewater State University. She also holds a Master's degree in History from UMass Dartmouth and an Associate's degree in Business from Bristol Community College. Additionally, she is MTEL cerfified in communication and literacy.

Ms. Maher's previous experience includes nine years of co-teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry at Old Colony Regional Vocational High School, and five years as the MCAS and Access Testing Coordinator at New Bedford High School. 

Ms. Maher is known for her patience, her kindness and her effort to make a positive impact on her students.
