Alicia Desrosiers teaches Grade 7 mathematics. She began her full-time teaching career at GLCPS in 2023. Ms. Desrosiers was part of the GLCPS family long before she joined the staff; she is a former student, as well. She loves teaching and wants each student to learn to be kind, brave and strong humans more than anything else. Ms. Desrosiers earned her Bachelor’s degree in General Education from Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to joining the staff here, she taught middle school math as a long-term substitute. She has also been a swim instructor for 15 years at area pools. Ms. Desrosiers is the mom of three girls, including twins. Besides her love for cooking and trying new recipes, Ms. Desrosiers is a “Disney adult,” enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants.
