Sandra Cunha has extensive experience in teaching English as a second language to both adults and students here in the U.S. and overseas. She joined the GLCPS team in 2016 as the English Learner Coordinator. Ms. Cunha earned her undergraduate degree in Computer and Information Science from UMass Dartmouth and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from UMass Boston. Ms. Cunha is a member of the MATSOL (Massachusetts Educators of English Language Learners) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages International Association). Ms. Cunha served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member after completing her undergraduate degree. Her passion for travelling and learning about other cultures hasn't waned; she's visited 32 states and 12 different countries and speaks three languages. .
