Prior to joining the GLCPS staff in 2010, Mr. Rodrigues had a successful career as a master plasterer and framer, building and remodeling commercial and residential properties. He enjoys teaching students construction and painting skills that he has perfected over the years. He can build pretty much anything and will do so quickly and efficiently when asked.

 

Every day, Mr. Rodrigues arrives at GLCPS well before other staff and students to make sure the building is in tip-top shape. He then greets everyone as they enter the building. During the summer months, you can find him working with a team of young people to improve the school's appearance: painting stairwells and classrooms, building shelves, organizing rooms, and more.

 

In his spare time, Mr. Rodrigues enjoys riding his motorcycle and gardening. He and his wife also enjoy boating and shellfishing with their dogs.
