Erin Kochanek became a High School History teacher in 2014 at the Jacobs Center. She has a Bachelors degree in History and a minor in Religious Studies from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Ms. Kochanek completed her teaching practicum for high school history under the supervision of Mrs. Heidi Eastman and Dr. Maureen Hall at GLCPS during the fall semester of 2013; thereafter she was hired as a special education paraprofessional where she worked with fifth grade students.

 

In addition she also worked at Camp Success at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth during the summer of 2012. While there, Ms. Kochanek had the opportunity to work with special education students with mild to moderate disabilities.
