Steven Griffin joined the GLCPS family as a high school History teacher in 2022. Mr. Griffin earned a Bachelor's degree in History/Secondary Education from the University of Rhode Island. He is currently enrolled in a Sheltered English Immersion course. Mr. Griffin has worked as a long-term substitute teacher at Plymouth's Rising Tide Charter School where he taught Global History and Philosophy. Additionally, he was a leader in the Massachusetts Bar Association's Mock trial while a paraprofessional at Hingham High School, and supervised the Model United Nations Club at Rising Tide Charter School. He is also a member of the Hanover Historical Society. 
Mr. Griffin enjoys skiing, hiking, reading History and collecting records.
