Matthew Gaouette began teaching at GLCPS in January, 2022. "Coach" Gaouette earned his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Physical Education from Bridgewater State University. He is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Coach Gauoette worked as  a Strength and Conditioning Coach at BSU. He also coached football for several years at Apponequet Regional High School. 

While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Coach Gaouette volunteered with BSU's Children's Physical Developmental Clinic. He also spent time helping to run the Freetown Lakeville Community Recreation Strength and Conditioning Program. 

In his free time, Coach Gaouette enjoys hiking and spending time with his dog Myla.
