Michelle Carreiro has over 20 years of experience in supporting and coordinating educational programs that promote equity in education, specifically in the areas of teacher and learning for students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. She joined the GLCPS team in 2018 as an ESL teacher. Ms. Carreiro earned her undergraduate degree in Education Studies and a Master's degree in ESL and Cross-Cultural Studies from Brown University. Ms. Carreiro has served on the Rhode Island Dual Language Committee and also the Greater Fall River Children's Museum Board. She also has extensive experience in designing and coordinating programs that promote school and family engagement.
