Additionally, the evening is an opportunity for you to meet and ask questions of our staff and representatives of the Board of Trustees, and to learn more about the exciting changes we are introducing at GLCPS this year.

Students are not required to wear a GLCPS uniform for the Academy, however, your child is expected to dress appropriately and may not wear open toe shoes, sandals or flip-flops. Students do not have to bring in any school supplies such as pencils, pens, notebooks or backpacks. Students are allowed to bring in bottled water but may not bring in energy drinks, coffee or any other beverage.
If you requested transportation for Summer Academy, you should have received pick up and drop off location and times in the mail. If you are dropping off and picking up your child, please use our main entrance on Nye Street at the back of the building. Students should be dropped off in the morning by 7:55 am and picked up by 12:00 pm.
In our efforts to provide our new parents/guardians with important information about the upcoming school year, we are holding a parent/guardian orientation on Monday, August 22nd from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
