Maria Lehning is is a Social Studies teacher for Grade 8. She joined the GLCPS staff in the 2017-18 school year as a special education teacher. She has many years experience in the education field as a home tutor, high school paraprofessional and a long-term substitute History teacher. Ms. Lehning received her Bachelor's degree from Mount Saint Mary College where she majored in History and received her certification in Social Studies. She earned her Master's of Art in teaching from UMass Dartmouth. She is also a CCD teacher for St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dartmouth.
