The event will feature food, entertainment and acknowledgement of the tapestry of cultures present in New Bedford and the world. Students and families are designing and creating exciting displays for the “global region” of their choice.
"When the Global Learning Charter Public School first opened its doors, no one could have expected the impact of world cultures on today’s youth," said Adonis Ferreira, Director of Student, Family and Community Life. "The school was so named to highlight the goal of educating for global citizenship and we will be celebrating the teaching of global competencies with this Cultural Bazaar."
