Travel: Students will be bused from the school to the park by 9:00 AM. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM from the Park and will take their regular scheduled bus home. Only walkers and pickups (i.e. Carney Academy, DeValles, etc.) will be brought back to the school.
Lunch: We will follow the normal lunch procedures (free, reduced or paid) with Sodexo providing us a cookout with the following menu:
Hamburger, hot dog, corn on the cob, chips, watermelon, and water
Bring your lunch if you are not interested in eating the school lunch
Dress Code:
- Athletic shorts and cargo shorts are allowed. No jean shorts.
- Appropriate shorts must be below students' fingertips when arms are draped by their sides.
- Wear Sneakers. No flip flops or open toe sandals.
- Students not in appropriate clothing will not be able to participate and must be picked up by parents from the school. The main office will be open and staffed during school hours.
Students are required to wear the following shirt colors for each grade level:
Grade 5 = white Grade 7 = orange Grade 9 = red Grade 11 = grey
Grade 6 = yellow Grade 8 = blue Grade 10 = green
Students are encouraged to bring the following:
- Two water bottles
- Sunglasses and hat
- Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and insect repellent pump bottle only (containing ≤10 % DEET).
- Softball mitts if you wish to participate in softball
- Tennis racquet if you wish to play tennis
